Choosing a flagpole

What you need to know when buying a flag & flagpole.

The first thing you need to consider is the size of the flag and the flagpole that you need. This is largely a matter of convention: as a general rule, the flag size is one third of the size of the pole. Flags are measure in yards down the long side are generally half as high as they are long. Flagpoles are measured in metres which just adds to the confusion.

Materials and Manufacture.

Intrack Flagpoles are manufactured in premiumquality extruded aluminium and are manufactured to meet the rigors of Australian Standard A.S.1664 and can be custom designed to meet extraordinary design wind pressures on a site by site basis.

Finishes available.

Standard finishes include mill finish aluminium, 20um clear anodised aluminium or gloss white polyester powdercoat. Other anodised or applied finishes are available in a wide variety of colours to suit individual project requirements.
